Festival and Market

December 10th and 11th, 2011, presented by the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, located at 154 Moody Street, Waltham MA, features both performance and shopping experiences. Throughout the day,  Pastimes Entertainment will present interactive theatrical experiences, including Victorian Carolers, a Victorian Santa Claus and his workshop elf.

Queen Victoria will hold court and roving actors will present scenes from Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Visitors may interact with Tiny Tim, the ghosts of Christmas past present and future, watch one of Santa’s elves make toys for good girls and boys, and more.

In addition the museum has gathered together twenty vendors offering hand crafted reproduction Victorian merchandise including wooden toys, leather gifts, porcelain china, top hats, jewelry and more.

Hey kids you can also type letter to Santa on one of our nineteenth century typewrites and search for his elves in a scavenger hunt.
